Lincoln O.M. ROARing to Run 5k

The ROARing to Run 5k is a real 5k that is timed, but also a very child-centered event, with close to 200 finishers. The registration fee for a student is just $5.00, making it one of the least expensive 5ks in the nation. There are many volunteers along our straightforward flat course to keep all runners safe. Kids receive a finisher's award, a door prize, and a leopard-print doo rag. We also have a raffle for a high-quality kid-sized mountain bike, with helmet and a life-time of free maintenance, courtesy of Bicycle Outfitters of Grand Junction. Family members and community runners are encouraged to participate as well. You might just get a PR! This school/community event is packed with energy and good vibes!
